Moogie Pilates / Austin, Tx

Located in a converted former post office building in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Austin, this Pilates studio embraces its new location and new identity with a vibrant and inclusive design inspired by the aesthetics of its rebrand.  Drawing on lively colors and retro curves, the 1,600-square-foot space communicates a fun and welcoming atmosphere for all practitioners.

The layout is tuned to provide space for intimate group and solo classes.  A custom curved reception desk merges with the organic forms of walls and ceiling, clad in linear wood battens and serving as a focal point upon entry. To overcome the challenge of limited access to natural light from only one side of the space, new skylights and strategically-located mirrors enhance brightness and openness.
