JOBS SPRING 2021 / Studio Manager / Graphics / Comm. Coordinator / Junior Designer / Project Designer


We are looking to expand our team to include a Project Designer (3-5 yrs experience) and a Junior Designer (0-3 yrs experience).  The openings are listed below as well as on the AIA Austin jobs board.

Junior Designer (0-3 yrs experience)

This is a full-time position for a recent graduate to work on a range of projects at all phases of design and construction.  Candidates should have most or all of the following qualifications:

- A professional undergraduate and/or master’s degree in architecture.

- Up to 3 years of prior experience in an architectural office.

- Reasonable software proficiency with Revit, Sketchup, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Excel. 

- Knowledge of Rhino, VRay and scripting tools is a plus.

- Strong design, organizational and communication skills (verbal, written & graphic).

- Ability to take initiative, problem-solve, work as part of a team and meet deadlines.

- Familiarity with digital fabrication software/processes is a plus, as is hands-on construction experience.

Project Designer (3-5 yrs experience)

This is a full-time position for an early-career designer to work on a range of projects at all phases of design and construction.  Candidates should have most or all of the following qualifications:

- A professional undergraduate and/or master’s degree in architecture.

- Ideally 3-5 years of prior experience in an architectural office.

- Fluency with Revit, Sketchup, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Excel. 

- Knowledge of Rhino, VRay and scripting tools is preferred but not required.

- Strong design, organizational and communication skills (verbal, written & graphic).

- Solid knowledge of building and zoning codes

- Ability to take initiative, problem-solve, work as part of a team and meet deadlines.

- Familiarity with digital fabrication software/processes is a plus, as is hands-on construction experience.

- Experience on ground-up mixed-use projects is a bonus.
